When someone or other is about to set sail on a memorable voyage, sometimes for good luck they "break in" the boat/ship/vessel/vehicle/etc. with a bottle of wine (or a few) to celebrate. I feel I must also somehow "bless" the launching of this new blog (my first I've ever planned on following through with!) and, being the individual that I am, what better way to start my internet-posting-independence off on a good note than with a delectable quote? So without further ado, let my bloggin begin, with a few fitting words I wish we all could take to heart (or at least me)...

And frankly, yes, I do. Every single year it seems I memorize this quote just to try moving on from the year before, learn to sever the ties to a painful past and be at peace with myself. Hey, I'm working on it! Just wish it wasn't taking so damn long...
